By accessing and using LiteBite ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

LiteBite is a restaurant menu search platform that allows users to discover restaurants and browse menus. Restaurant owners can register to manage and display their restaurant information and menu items.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To register as a restaurant owner, you must:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Approval

Restaurant registrations are subject to approval by administrators. We reserve the right to approve or reject any registration at our sole discretion.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or servers
• Collect or harvest information about other users
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Violate any intellectual property rights

5. Restaurant Owner Responsibilities

As a restaurant owner, you are responsible for:

• Ensuring all restaurant information is accurate and up-to-date
• Maintaining accurate menu item information, including prices and availability
• Complying with all applicable food safety and business regulations
• Respecting intellectual property rights when uploading content
• Obtaining necessary permissions for any images or content you upload

6. Content Ownership and License

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Platform. By uploading content, you grant LiteBite a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Platform.

6.2 Platform Content

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of LiteBite or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of restaurant information
• Availability or uninterrupted access to the Platform
• Freedom from errors, viruses, or other harmful components
• Fitness for a particular purpose

We do not guarantee the accuracy of menu prices, availability, or dietary information. Users should verify information directly with restaurants.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiteBite and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Platform.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LiteBite, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
